Amazing Grace is back :)
What a wonderful day... got a new car RM75000 Ford Focus 1.8 Ghia Sedan with Leather Seat 2005, boss's son car...:) like new on the road was RM128000! got a discount of RM60000! :) Can't sleep tonite....can't stop laughing....:D..just got back from work...went to Tesco eat Beef Noodles with Colin, Went to Giant bought a digital camera...went to Pizza Hut to discuss about opening a Restaurant in July with Bala and Colin...Went to Coffee Bean Jusco and bought a CNY Bear Paddington Bear I think...:) how can i sleep tonite...hahahahahahahahaha Watching Cleopatra with Colin now
Every Tuesday is the day I do my things for JCH Foundation for KIDS ...so I am so happy as happy as a little boy playing with balloons in the big field in my Taman and Swinging as High as possible on my favorite swing...and just watch the moon and control it's brightness with my hand...HAHAHA...I am an alien from the moon...:)wish i have a BIG TELESCOPE and just watch the stars and moon and planet rotate and just sleep and be at peace...:) Really can't sleep...i am now the King of Bukit Baru...so I am looking for my Queen...please call 016-215 8669 we'll have a Grand Wedding in December...and live happily ever after in my new Three Storey Castle in Tropicana Bukit Baru worth RM568000...Please call...:) all the pretty girls that just graduate...don't need to work! It was a dark day in America.
There was no amazing grace.
Freedom did not ring.
Tragedy attacked sky-high.
Fiery terror reigned.
Structures collapsed.
Red with blood, white with ash,
And out-of-the-sky blue.
As children trust elders,
Citizens find faith in leaders.
But all were blinded,
Shocked by blasts.
Undefiable outrage.
Undeniable outpouring
Of support, even prayer,
or at least, moments of silence.
Church and State
Could not be separated.
A horrific blasting of events
With too few happy endings.
Can the children sleep

Can the citizens ever rest
Assured of national security again?
God, please, bless America...

Continuation of the journey
My second brother Ivan got a rental card from a video shop near our home. He is now studying in Inti College in Selangor. He was lucky enough to get a scholarship from Tenaga Nasional Berhad; the electric giant of Malaysia. He was going to leave us soon. I felt like losing a brother! He was my hero. In the rough teenage world; I looked up to him. I emulated him. I played tennis; joined LEO Club...etc all because of him. He was my role model. My father figure in the void my father left when he was having an affair when I was 6 till 13. I wanted to be exactly like him. " Someone" in the school. Popular and having all the girls chasing after me. Haha...It was 1994 and I will be having a tough year ahead. SPM!!! The Form 5 public exam. Gruelling two weeks of examinations in October or November. But I was renting videos like nobody's business. Every other day there will be a new movie. After finishing my tuition homework of Additional Mathematics of my tuition teacher Mr Tan Kwan Sim, I would be watching a movie...sometimes two. Film addiction:)...Ivan told mom I shouldn't be watching so many movies. I should be concentrating on my studies. Okay maybe I was a bit overboard. Irony of it was Ivan was the one that gave me the video rental card! :) Anyway, there was one movie that really touches me; "Searching for Bobby Fischer" I was in love with Max Pomeranc. He was the actor that played Josh Waitzkin in the movie. Based on a true story. His father, Fred Waitzkin was a journalist with The New York Times. I gave myself a new name; Josh. I am now known as Josh C.H. my pseudonym when I write articles for newspaper. I am now Josh or Joshy; a cute version. I like joshing around. So the name fitted me perfectly :). I felt like a 7 year old in a 17 year old body. I felt the spirit and energy of a 7 year old. I felt I could get 10A1s in SPM. " I can do it" " I'll do it!" :) " I am the best" " I am happy:)" No worries SPM is "kacang putih" easy in Malay...:)
Well, SPM turned out to be anything but "kacang putih" hahaha!!! " Josh...Josh...quit joshing around" I told myself. At the end of 1994; I survived. I was filled with endless possibilities of getting a scholarship to study in places like Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, Yale...all the Ivy Leagues universities.

The year that was: 1998
Journey: Memoirs of a childhood
The year was 1998, I was in my third semester in UPM. I was doing okay. I worked in Baskin-Robbins during the May Break. Keeping myself busy. Then I met the cutest boy ever. His name is Chew Shin Hoong. He was only 5. His father and mother opened a stationery shop downstairs from where I stayed. I was staying with Carol, Wai Yoke, Sheau Jiun, Foo Xiong, Victor and Cheng Wei. Seven of us in a two bedroom apartment. The new flat; we called it. RM700 per month. Each person RM100. Life was okay; in fact great. Enjoying my tennis, collected money for Kosovo war children. Sent RM150 to UNICEF. Coming back to Shin Hoong. He was so cute. The way he called my name, “Colburn…” like a voice of an Angel. Anyway, I approached his mom and say if I could teach him tuition. She said yes. So I taught him English, Malay and Maths. I was very happy to have a little brother like him. There was another boy; Lim Zheng Ming. He was 6. I taught him too. In the same class as Shin Hoong. Two little brothers to play with. I am so happy! Can't stop smiling!

My Boston Brother Joey
Joey and I have known each other since the 4th of July 2004. We met on Yahoo Messenger. He is the nicest guy anyone could have for a friend. Planning to visit him in 2010. The picture is him when he was young. He is now 36. His Birthday is on the 1st of May. My birthday is on the 1st of December! 1st and 1st! :)
Remembering Mattie J.T. Stepanek
Mattie has to be an Angel sent by God. Born 17 July 1990. Died 22 June 2004. He has Muscular Dystrophy. :( He was the youngest of four children. All his siblings died also. Jamie, Stevie and Katie... :( I first knew him from a newspaper article in 2001. After September 11th. He wrote a poem, "For our world" in memories of the terrible attacks. He would like to be remembered as a poet, peacemaker; but to me he will always be my Angel :). I just got his last book; published by his mom after he died in 2005. "Reflections of a Peacemaker: A Portrait Through Heartsongs" I cried at the post office the moment i opened the Amazon box. It felt like God is sending Mattie to me because I felt so lonely this morning. My mom actually did not come back last night and refused to let me know where she went. I felt so lonely without my mommy yesterday :(. I cleaned her room. Josh=The Good Son :)Thank God she's back home safely now. Matthew Joseph Thaddeus Stepanek. You will always be my brother. I can't wait to play with you and your siblings when I get to Heaven someday :)

Blessed Sunday :)
Going to church at 10.30am today... just woke up. Thank you Mr Tan Kwan Sim for your feedbacks...:D It touches me deeply too for someone to actually read my story like you did. Everybody else is busy! Well, we are our master of time. Everybody got 24 hours... 8 hours sleep, 8 hours Play, 8 hours work as Jesus intended...:D

Continuation of the Journey
You see , I was the baby of the family. In the house, I'll be the servant. Helping mom folding the clothes; my sister paid me 50 cents to wash her gigantic shoes size 7! my eldest brother Steven asking me to help him like holding the hose when he was cleaning the aquarium; my second brother Ivan asking for scissors or anything else; I'll be their servant. The boy that obeyed everything, right down to the level of the maid! Haha! :)
I was like Oliver Twist in Charles Dicken's book. I pictured myself as Mark Lester. When I saw Oliver! The movie on TV ...it was part of the Dunhill Film Festival on TV2. I told myself, " I want to be an actor like Mark someday!" Famous and handsome and all the girls will be running after me for an autograph! :)
I remembered sitting on the toilet and singing "Where is Love?" pretending to be Mark! I wished I knew him personally. He had a voice of an Angel. From then on, I started fantasising about becoming a child actor in Hollywood! I wanted to become Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone!, Elijah Wood from Forever Young, Joseph Mazello from The Cure, Max Pomeranc from Searching for Bobby Fischer; Hal Scardino from the Indian in the Cupboard....etc
I was in love with films! Free Willy 1993. I watched it with Penny in the old Federal Cinema. I was so excited I bought the soundtrack. My first soundtrack; a cassette! Cost me RM 11.90 of my allowance. I listened to it over and over again. I pretended I was Jason James Ricthter! the boy that played Jesse in the movie. I imagined I had a gigantic friend Willy the orca. What a coincident my dad's name is also Willy. :D Now I wanted to be a film director! Make movie in Hollywood! A screenplay Writer...a cinematographer...Everything about movies! My escape from real life was the movies.

Good morning!!! Blessed CNY everyone!
Good morning to all, it's 5.28am and I just woke up... Have to go to the bank to settle some credit card debts later... Might go watch Bedtime Stories with friends later...or with my best friend, Chee Hong. Let's see what happens today... will definitely visit some relatives... Chee Hong got a job in Sales! Happy Chinese New Year : Ox Year!
Hi readers, Just got back from a bout of illness. Was hospitalised for 12 days; Jan 12th to Jan 23rd in Melaka GH. But now back home just finished dinner with mom and dad. Today is also my niece, Caryn's 9th Birthday! had a celebration at lunch.

Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve always wanted to be a doctor. I just want to help sick people and make them well; especially sick children and old people. Therefore, I worked hard in school. I actually like school. School was somewhere where I could be myself and be happy. School was my sanctuary from home.
I remembered that I was a very timid boy; not a word unless I was spoken to; a very quiet boy. In my kindergarten report card, it was stated: “ Very quiet but intelligent”.
