Remembering Mattie J.T. Stepanek

Mattie has to be an Angel sent by God. Born 17 July 1990. Died 22 June 2004. He has Muscular Dystrophy. :( He was the youngest of four children. All his siblings died also. Jamie, Stevie and Katie... :( I first knew him from a newspaper article in 2001. After September 11th. He wrote a poem, "For our world" in memories of the terrible attacks. He would like to be remembered as a poet, peacemaker; but to me he will always be my Angel :). I just got his last book; published by his mom after he died in 2005. "Reflections of a Peacemaker: A Portrait Through Heartsongs" I cried at the post office the moment i opened the Amazon box. It felt like God is sending Mattie to me because I felt so lonely this morning. My mom actually did not come back last night and refused to let me know where she went. I felt so lonely without my mommy yesterday :(. I cleaned her room. Josh=The Good Son :)Thank God she's back home safely now. Matthew Joseph Thaddeus Stepanek. You will always be my brother.
